The best desert landscapes are designed, first and foremost, to work without large amounts of water. Using plants and trees that provide a lot of shade to your yard are always a good bet, as long as they fit into the bi-laws of your community. Additionally, it’s important to know how much space each type of plant needs so they’re not over-crowded.
