What do you do if your filter pressure increases? Normally an increase in pressure is an indicator that your filter needs to be cleaned. So, here is the general rule of thumb that will keep 99% of you guys out of trouble. Backwash you DE pools every 3 months, sand filters every month and clean you cartridge filters every 6 months. This is something you really want to stay on top of…because we all know what happens when we are under too much pressure…WE EXPLODE!
