PBA Tip of the Day brought to you by Steve Cahow with Solv-IT Solutions (623) 551-8881.
What is one thing you can do to help your computer run faster?
Steve has the answer!
Stop unnecessary start-ups! Whenever you switch on your PC some programs will automatically start to run in the background. All the applications running will use your computer’s memory so get rid of the ones you don’t need running at start-up. To do this click Start and type “Run”. In the box that appears type “msconfig” and a box will appear, at the top click the “Startup” tab listing all the applications that run when your computer starts up. You can either un-check the ones that are unnecessary or click “disable all”, but be sure to keep vital things like antivirus going at all times.
