PBA Tip of the Day brought to you by David Coleman with Precise Pest Solutions(602) 487-7312.
What should you do if you encounter a snake? Dave has the answer!
It is snake season. The weather is beautiful and wonderful to enjoy this time of year. Unfortunately, the snakes feel the same way. Snakes are out thick this time of year. If you do encounter a snake:
Avoid approaching any snake you cannot positively identify as a safe species.
If you hear the warning rattle, move away from the area and do not make sudden or threatening movements in the direction of the snake.
Remember rattlesnakes do not always rattle before they strike!
Do NOT try to poke, prod or remove the snake. Most snake bites occur when the snake was provoked or felt threatened.
Lastly, call Dave to have the snake safely removed from your yard if you encounter the snake in your yard.
