PBA Tip of the Day brought to you by David Coleman with Precise Pest Solutions (602) 487-7312.
Most scorpions in the U.S. are found in the Southwest regions. They come in many sizes and colors, but are usually light tan and are a few inches long. Doing these few things can greatly reduce the chances of seeing these unwanted creatures around your house!
Eliminate standing water
Seal cracks and crevices, especially around doors and windows where they can gain access to your home
Inspect cabinets, closets, and other dark places on a regular basis
Clear away brush, debris, and woodpiles from the perimeter of your home.
Scorpions feed on other insects such as crickets. You can help eliminate crickets by turning outdoor lights off at night and making sure you are up to date on your pest control monthly service!
